Alumni outreach in DC

The Jefferson Memorial
I visited Washington, D.C. and attended a UNH DC Alumni chapter get-together at P.J. Clarke's only blocks from The White House.

The private event was a success! I met with many alums, but also some students, currently working internships through The Washington Center (TWC). The students seemed very happy to be there and to network, many are willing to contribute blog entries for an upcoming UNH-hosted website all about students and the student experience. I took some photos at teh event to tweet out and share via Facebook and Google+, even having a contest to giveaway a UNH Alumni tee to the first person to tweet a picture from the event with the hashtag, #UNHDC. Congrats to Helen Hocknell!

While there, I also visited with some UNH Alums for coffee and they shared what they're up to in the metro DC area these days...
