One Year Later: How are we doing?

It's been one year since I began this position as Social Media Coordinator for The University of New Hampshire and a lot of progress has been made... It's not all about the numbers, it's about the engagement. Having said that, let us just glance at the current numbers for each of the UNH Social Media accounts:

UNH Facebook: 13,314 likes

@UofNH Twitter: 3,769 follows

UNH on Foursquare: 517 likes

UNH and Google Plus: 2,075

UNH on YouTube: 192 subscribers

UNH on Pinterest: 445

UNH and LinkedIn: 8,600

Instagram for UofNH: 1,228

There is still much work to do. The numbers look good, but that's not the way to measure - Remember: it's all about the engagement with your audience(s) and how you interact -- does it increase numbers? Usually, yes, but more importantly it increases your brand awareness and shows your customers and their friends that you care. Keep the conversation going!
